Overview

Denzing had already built a capable AI platform with significant functionality. Users could create agents with their data, connect various sources – the core engine was running. However, the user interface and overall brand presentation hadn't kept pace. It lacked visual consistency, a modern feel, and a unified brand identity needed to truly shine and connect with a broader audience.

I was brought on board as a design consultant to address these challenges and elevate the overall user experience.

Design Audit

Upon joining, I initiated a collaborative assessment involving QA engineers, developers, and project managers. We identified key areas needing improvement:

  • Inconsistent typography and spacing

  • Disjointed color schemes

  • Lack of a cohesive design system

  • Absence of a unified brand identity

This collective insight laid the groundwork for a comprehensive design audit and subsequent revamp.

The Design Process

Design Audit & Prioritization

Conducted a thorough review of the existing UI, cataloging inconsistencies and usability issues. Tasks were prioritized based on criticality and dependencies.

Brand Identity Development

  • Logo Design: Explored multiple concepts, culminating in a modern logo that encapsulates Denzing's innovative spirit.

  • Color Palette: Proposed 15+ color schemes, leading to the selection of a palette that balances professionalism with approachability.

  • Brand Guidelines: Compiled a comprehensive document detailing typography, iconography, and usage guidelines to ensure brand consistency.

Design System Creation

  • Developed a modular design system encompassing:

  • Standardized components (buttons, forms, modals)

  • Responsive design principles

  • Integration guidelines for seamless developer handoff

Website Design & Development

  • Wireframing: Outlined the website structure focusing on user journey and information hierarchy.

  • High-Fidelity Prototypes: Created detailed designs in Figma reflecting the new brand identity.

  • Development: Built the responsive website using Tailwind CSS, ensuring optimal performance across devices. 🌐 Live Site
